| 11 | 11 | SECTION 1. Sec. 1001.112(f), Education Code, is amended to | |
| 12 | 12 | read as follows: | |
| 13 | 13 | (f) The department may not charge a fee for: | |
| 14 | 14 | (1) the submission of proof of: | |
| 15 | 15 | (A) [(1)] completion of a course conducted under | |
| 16 | 16 | this section; or | |
| 17 | 17 | (B) [(2)] passage of an examination administered | |
| 18 | 18 | under Subsection (e); | |
| 19 | 19 | (2) an application for designation as a person | |
| 20 | 20 | eligible to provide parent-taught driver education; or | |
| 21 | 21 | (3) designation as a person eligible to provide | |
| 22 | 22 | parent-taught driver education. | |
| 23 | 23 | Section 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
