| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Born in Houston on May 29, 1990, Matthew Stice was |

| 11 | 12 | | the beloved son of Brenda and Travis Stice, and he grew up with the |

| 12 | 13 | | companionship of his two siblings, Elizabeth and Luke; despite the |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | medical challenges he faced from birth, he exuded joy and |

| 14 | 15 | | happiness, and he made a deep impression on everyone he encountered |

| 15 | 16 | | with his contagious laugh and his purity of spirit; and |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Stice's many interests included Thomas the Tank |

| 17 | 18 | | Engine, old Disney VHS movies, and his prized collection of books, |

| 18 | 19 | | and he enjoyed riding his bicycle at Bynum School; he endeared |

| 19 | 20 | | himself to countless people, including his teachers and caregivers, |

| 20 | 21 | | and he was cherished deeply by his extended family members and |

| 21 | 22 | | lifelong friends; and |

| 22 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Although his time on this earth was far too brief, |

| 23 | 24 | | Matthew Stice was a ray of light in the lives of those who held him |

| 24 | 25 | | dear, and he leaves behind a legacy of love that will never be |
