R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jennifer Beech of Boggess Elementary School has been
nominated for the 2025 Plano Independent School District Elementary
Teacher of the Year award; and
WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to
become successful and productive adults, and those men and women
who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference
in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Beech has taught a variety of programs and
grade levels since 2012, including kindergarten, first grade,
fourth grade, special education, and English as a second language;
she currently serves as a prekindergarten teacher, and she has
previously volunteered in a number of schools in Michigan, Texas,
Utah, Mexico, and Ecuador; she holds a bachelor's degree in
elementary education from Brigham Young University, and she has
also completed master's degree courses in literacy, math, and
social studies at the University of Alabama; and
WHEREAS, Jennifer Beech exemplifies the passion,
determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our
best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all
in her profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Jennifer Beech on her nomination
for the 2025 Plano Independent School District Elementary Teacher
of the Year award and extend to her sincere best wishes for
continued success with her important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mrs. Beech as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
