| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Brooklyn Woods has distinguished herself in her |

| 9 | 9 | | responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State |

| 10 | 10 | | Representative Caroline Harris Davila during the 89th Legislative |

| 11 | 11 | | Session; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Woods has provided |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | including conducting legislative research, assisting with |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | constituent casework, meeting with office visitors, and attending |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | district events; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | field of public service, she has learned more about the legislative |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Woods is currently a student at The University |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | of Texas at Austin, where she is pursing a degree in international |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | relations; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Brooklyn Woods has performed her duties as a |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |

| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |

| 27 | 27 | | Legislature hereby commend Brooklyn Woods for her service as a |

| 29 | 29 | | Harris Davila and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued |
