R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Brooklyn Woods has distinguished herself in her
responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State
Representative Caroline Harris Davila during the 89th Legislative
Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Woods has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
including conducting legislative research, assisting with
constituent casework, meeting with office visitors, and attending
district events; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the
field of public service, she has learned more about the legislative
process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Woods is currently a student at The University
of Texas at Austin, where she is pursing a degree in international
relations; and
WHEREAS, Brooklyn Woods has performed her duties as a
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Brooklyn Woods for her service as a
legislative aide in the office of State Representative Caroline
Harris Davila and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued
success in all her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Woods as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
