 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Cooper Hilton is concluding his tenure as the
 2024-2025 president of the Texas Elementary Principals and
 Supervisors Association in June 2025, and this occasion provides a
 fitting opportunity to recognize his outstanding record of service;
 and
 WHEREAS, Over the course of his yearlong term, Mr. Hilton has
 ably led TEPSA in its mission to provide leadership training,
 networking opportunities, information, and support for its more
 than 6,000 members, who in turn oversee the education of
 approximately 3 million young Texans across the state; a strong
 advocate for public education, he has further contributed to the
 organization as vice president, as a conference presenter, and as a
 member of its State Executive and State Advocacy Committees; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Hilton currently serves Wilson Elementary
 School in the Coppell Independent School District as principal, a
 title he has held since May 2017, and over the course of his tenure,
 he has improved campus culture and teacher retention, redesigned
 the campus RtI process and intervention structures, initiated a
 dual language program evaluation, and maintained the school's
 status as a Great Expectations "Model School"; he first began
 working with the Coppell Independent School District in 2010 at
 Austin Elementary School, where he served as assistant principal
 and principal; and
 WHEREAS, Mr. Hilton holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish
 literature from the University of Dallas and a master's degree in
 educational leadership and policy from The University of Texas at
 Arlington; prior to joining Coppell ISD, he served as a bilingual
 teacher and interventionist in Irving ISD from 2005 to 2010; in all
 his endeavors, he enjoys the love and support of his wife, Lauren,
 and their four children; and
 WHEREAS, Through his leadership, professionalism, and
 commitment to excellence, Cooper Hilton has been a strong and
 effective advocate for educational leaders in the Lone Star State,
 and he may indeed reflect with pride on his many accomplishments;
 now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
 Legislature hereby commend Cooper Hilton for his service as the
 2024-2025 president of the Texas Elementary Principals and
 Supervisors Association and extend to him sincere best wishes for
 continued success with his important work; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Mr. Hilton as an expression of high regard by the Texas
 House of Representatives.
