| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, Jose Everardo Alcala Jr. has distinguished himself |

| 9 | 9 | | Representative Cassandra Garcia Hernandez during the 89th |

| 10 | 10 | | Legislative Session; and |

| 11 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Alcala has provided |

| 12 | 12 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |

| 13 | 13 | | including policy research, scheduling, constituent services, and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | communication with stakeholders; in addition to gaining valuable |

| 15 | 15 | | experience in the field of public service, he has learned more about |

| 16 | 16 | | the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone |

| 17 | 17 | | Star State; and |

| 18 | 18 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Alcala earned a bachelor's degree in political |

| 19 | 19 | | science from Texas A&M International University and a master's |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | degree in political science from The University of Texas at San |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Antonio; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Jose Everardo Alcala Jr. has performed his duties as |

| 23 | 23 | | a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |

| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
