R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jose Everardo Alcala Jr. has distinguished himself
in his responsibilities as a legislative aide in the office of State
Representative Cassandra Garcia Hernandez during the 89th
Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Alcala has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
including policy research, scheduling, constituent services, and
communication with stakeholders; in addition to gaining valuable
experience in the field of public service, he has learned more about
the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone
Star State; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Alcala earned a bachelor's degree in political
science from Texas A&M International University and a master's
degree in political science from The University of Texas at San
Antonio; and
WHEREAS, Jose Everardo Alcala Jr. has performed his duties as
a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Jose Everardo Alcala Jr. for his service
as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative
Cassandra Garcia Hernandez and extend to him sincere best wishes
for continued success; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Alcala as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
