| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Kicker Zane Gonzalez delivered an outstanding |

| 10 | 10 | | team's 2025 playoff campaign, helping the franchise advance to the |

| 11 | 11 | | NFC Championship Game for the first time in 33 years; and |

| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Gonzalez joined the Commanders in November |

| 13 | 13 | | 2024, and he was one of four players to take over kicking duties for |

| 14 | 14 | | the squad; rising to the occasion, he booted a perfect 19 of 19 |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | extra point kicks and 5 of his 7 field goal attempts during the |

| 16 | 16 | | regular season; in a wild-card matchup with Tampa Bay, he knocked a |

| 17 | 17 | | game-winning 37-yard field goal through the goal posts on the final |

| 37 | 37 | | 2017 NFL Draft, and he played parts of two seasons for the team |

| 39 | 39 | | Carolina Panthers; and |

| 40 | 40 | | WHEREAS, Demonstrating exceptional talent, dedication, and |

| 41 | 41 | | perseverance, Zane Gonzalez is a source of great pride to fans |

| 42 | 42 | | across the Lone Star State, and he is indeed deserving of |

| 43 | 43 | | recognition for all that he has achieved; now, therefore, be it |

| 44 | 44 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |
