H.R. No. 150 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, School boards play a crucial role in meeting the diverse educational needs of the youth in their districts, and the observance of School Board Recognition Month in January 2025 provides a fitting opportunity to honor Suzanne Kenoyer for her more than three decades of outstanding contributions to the Judson Independent School District; and WHEREAS, A graduate of Texas State University and Houston Baptist University, Ms. Kenoyer was initially employed with Judson ISD for 23 years as a teacher and curriculum specialist; she retired from those duties in 2013, and in May 2017, she was elected to the District 1 seat on the Judson ISD Board of Trustees; and WHEREAS, Currently serving as president of the school board, Ms. Kenoyer works tirelessly in behalf of more than 3,000 staff members and 22,500 students on 32 campuses; her responsibilities include assisting her fellow board members in setting policy and ensuring the efficient use of the district's budget, with the goal of creating an optimal learning environment for all pupils; moreover, this distinguished public servant has built lasting connections with district employees and families, fostering a deep appreciation for the spirit of the Judson ISD community; and WHEREAS, Suzanne Kenoyer has made a meaningful difference in the lives of countless young Texans through her work in the Judson Independent School District, and she may indeed take great pride in her exceptional record of achievement; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas Legislature hereby congratulate Suzanne Kenoyer on her more than 30 years of dedicated service to the Judson Independent School District and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Ms. Kenoyer as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
