78 WHEREAS, Members of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association
89 Women's Caucus are visiting the State Capitol on February 12, 2025;

1011 WHEREAS, Established in 2014 to address the needs of women
1112 within the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and encourage greater
1213 involvement in the organization's activities, the TTLA Women's
1314 Caucus provides a dedicated space for women trial lawyers to access
1415 professional resources, build connections, and support one another
1516 in their careers; and
1617 WHEREAS, The Women's Caucus hosts a number of webinars and
1718 events throughout the year, and it encourages women to take on
1819 leadership roles within the legal profession and in their
1920 communities by providing opportunities for networking and
2021 leadership development; and
2122 WHEREAS, Since its inception, the TTLA Women's Caucus has
2223 supported countless women in their professional endeavors, and its
2324 members are indeed deserving of special recognition for their
2425 dedicated efforts; now, therefore, be it
2526 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
2627 Legislature hereby recognize February 12, 2025, as Texas Trial
2728 Lawyers Association Women's Caucus Lobby Day at the State Capitol
2829 and extend a warm welcome to the visiting delegation.
