R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Chris Bower, the lead pastor of West Isle
Presbyterian Church in Galveston, is serving as Pastor of the Day
for the Texas House of Representatives on March 6, 2025; and
WHEREAS, Hailing from Mississippi, Pastor Bower was called to
the ministry when he was 18 years old; he has since resided and
ministered in 10 states and 2 foreign countries, and he has led
mission teams across the globe; and
WHEREAS, Blessed with a fine family that includes his wife,
Krista, and their three children, Roman, Graeme, and Elise, Pastor
Bower is devoted to his loved ones and his community; and
WHEREAS, Chris Bower exemplifies the highest standards of his
vocation, and over the years, he has inspired countless Texans
through his messages of faith and goodwill; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
Legislature hereby honor Chris Bower for his service as Pastor of
the Day and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success
and fulfillment in his ministry; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Pastor Bower as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
