| 7 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Felix Lopez, head custodian of Southwest Legacy High |

| 10 | 11 | | WHEREAS, Each month throughout the school year, San Antonio's |

| 11 | 12 | | KSAT news station partners with Firstmark Credit Union to honor an |
|---|
| 12 | 13 | | area educator who has positively impacted their students and |
|---|
| 13 | 14 | | community; and |
|---|
| 14 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Lopez has served the Southwest Independent |
|---|
| 15 | 16 | | School District for nearly three decades; widely admired for his |
|---|
| 16 | 17 | | exceptional work ethic, he is dedicated to fostering a positive and |
|---|
| 17 | 18 | | safe learning environment for students and faculty; moreover, he |
|---|
| 18 | 19 | | frequently goes above and beyond his duties, and he has assisted as |

| 19 | 20 | | a DJ at school dances and other events; and |

| 20 | 21 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Lopez benefits from the |

| 21 | 22 | | love and support of his wife, Elizabeth, who also works at Southwest |

| 22 | 23 | | Legacy High School as a cafeteria attendant; and |

| 23 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Over the course of his career, Felix Lopez has |

| 24 | 25 | | demonstrated an unwavering commitment to Southwest ISD students and |

| 25 | 26 | | staff, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his outstanding |

| 26 | 27 | | record of service; now, therefore, be it |

| 27 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas |

| 28 | 29 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Felix Lopez on being named the KSAT |
