 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, The Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers
 of Commerce is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its founding in
 2025; and
 WHEREAS, Established in 1975, TAMACC serves as the
 organizational umbrella for member Hispanic chambers and business
 organizations across the state; the association is dedicated to
 promoting business leadership, creating economic opportunities,
 and providing legislative advocacy for the Hispanic business
 community; and
 WHEREAS, One of the leading advocates for the approximately
 700,000 Hispanic-owned businesses in Texas, TAMACC is
 headquartered in Buda and composed of 18 local Hispanic chambers of
 commerce and more than 15,000 members; each year, the organization
 conducts a convention and business expo, leadership development and
 procurement conferences, a legislative advocacy program, and a
 Women of Distinction Awards luncheon; and
 WHEREAS, TAMACC also provides technical assistance and
 support to its members, fosters mutually beneficial relationships
 with affiliate organizations, and assists in the development of new
 chambers; moreover, its mentorship program, Leadership Tejas,
 helps prepare Hispanic business owners, company managers,
 community leaders, and volunteers for prominent positions in their
 communities and organizations; and
 WHEREAS, For half a century, the Texas Association of Mexican
 American Chambers of Commerce has played an integral role in the
 growth and vitality of the Hispanic business community, and the
 organization is indeed deserving of recognition as it marks this
 special milestone in its history; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
 Legislature hereby commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Texas
 Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce and extend to
 all those affiliated with the organization sincere best wishes for
 continued success; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for the association as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
