| 12 | 12 | BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: | |
| 13 | 13 | SECTION 1. Subchapter A, Chapter 12, Parks and Wildlife | |
| 14 | 14 | Code, is amended by adding Section 12.0065 to read as follows: | |
| 15 | 15 | Sec. 12.0065. PUBLICATION ON DANGERS OF REFLECTIVE WINDOWS | |
| 16 | 16 | TO BIRDS; DISTRIBUTION TO MUNICIPALITIES AND CONSTRUCTION | |
| 17 | 17 | INDUSTRY. (a) The department shall: | |
| 18 | 18 | (1) produce a publication on the dangers posed to | |
| 19 | 19 | birds by reflective windows; and | |
| 20 | 20 | (2) provide copies of the publication at no cost to | |
| 21 | 21 | municipalities. | |
| 22 | 22 | (b) A municipality that receives copies of the publication | |
| 23 | 23 | from the department under Subsection (a)(2) shall distribute the | |
| 24 | 24 | copies at no cost to members of the construction industry active in | |
| 25 | 25 | the municipality. | |
| 26 | 26 | SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2025. |
