12+ WHEREAS, Established by the Gainesville City Council in 2001,
13+ the annual Medal of Honor Host City Program pays tribute to those
14+ who have received the Medal of Honor, the highest award for acts of
15+ valor that the United States bestows upon members of the armed
16+ forces; the initiative provides area residents with the opportunity
17+ to meet Medal of Honor recipients and express their appreciation;

26- RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 89th
27- Legislature, hereby commemorate the grand opening of the Medal of
28- Honor Host City Museum and commend all those involved in its
29- establishment for their outstanding efforts; and, be it further
28+ Honor exemplify the highest ideals of the U.S. armed forces, and the

30+ sacrifices and achievements are not forgotten; now, therefore, be

32+ RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89th Texas Legislature
