of an open platform for China, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
The Act may be cited as the ‘‘No Taxpayer Funded 4
Platform for Chinese Communists Act’’. 5

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON CERTAIN FUNDING RELATING TO 1
PROVISION OF AN OPEN PLATFORM FOR 2
CHINA. 3
(a) F
UNDINGPROHIBITION.—Notwithstanding any 4
other provision of law, no funding made available to the 5
United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM) may 6
be used to provide an open platform for representatives 7
of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), members of the 8
Chinese Communist Party (CCP), or any entity owned or 9
controlled by the PRC or CCP. 10
(b) R
EPORT.—Not later than 180 days after the date 11
of the enactment of this Act, the USAGM shall submit 12
to the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Rep-13
resentatives and the Committee on Foreign Relations of 14
the Senate a report describing whether or not any of its 15
broadcast entities, including its grantee organizations, has 16
provided at any time during the five-year period imme-17
diately preceding such report an open platform for rep-18
resentatives of the PRC, members of the CCP, or any enti-19
ty owned or controlled by the PRC or CCP. Such report 20
shall be made available on a publicly available website by 21
the Federal Government. 22
