| 41 | 41 | | cerated, shall release from confinement a prisoner who has 11 |

| 42 | 42 | | served one half or more of their term of imprisonment (in-12 |
|---|
| 43 | 43 | | cluding any consecutive term or terms of imprisonment) 13 |

| 44 | 44 | | if that prisoner— 14 |
|---|
| 45 | 45 | | ‘‘(1) has attained the age of 45 years; 15 |

| 46 | 46 | | ‘‘(2) has never been convicted of a crime of vio-16 |
