ESEA MILITARY RECRUITER ACCESS. 1 (a) I NGENERAL.—Subpart 2 of Part F of title VIII 2 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 3 (20 U.S.C. 7901 et seq.) is amended by inserting after 4 section 8528 the following: 5 ‘‘SEC. 8528A. MILITARY RECRUITER ACCESS TO SECONDARY 6 SCHOOL CAMPUSES. 7 ‘‘Each local educational agency receiving assistance 8 under this Act shall provide military recruiters the same 9 access to the campus of each secondary school served by 10 the local educational agency for the purpose of recruiting 11 students who are at least 17 years of age that is provided 12 to any prospective employer, institution of higher edu-13 cation, or other recruiter.’’. 14 (b) E FFECTIVEDATE.—The amendment made by 15 this Act shall take effect 1 year after the date of enact-16 ment of this Act. 17 SEC. 3.
