3535 Resolved, That at any time after adoption of this reso-1
3636 lution the Speaker may, pursuant to clause 2(b) of rule 2
3737 XVIII, declare the House resolved into the Committee of 3
3838 the Whole House on the state of the Union for consider-4
3939 ation of the bill (H.R. 4365) making appropriations for 5
4040 the Department of Defense for the fiscal year ending Sep-6
4141 tember 30, 2024, and for other purposes. The first reading 7
4242 of the bill shall be dispensed with. All points of order 8
4343 against consideration of the bill are waived. General de-9
4444 bate shall be confined to the bill and shall not exceed one 10
4545 hour equally divided and controlled by the chair and rank-11
4646 ing minority member of the Committee on Appropriations 12
4747 or their respective designees. After general debate the bill 13
