36 | 36 | | pose a safety risk to the United States Armed Forces if 7 |

42 | 42 | | after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Sec-11 |

43 | 43 | | retary of Defense shall submit to the congressional 12 |

44 | 44 | | defense committees a report that includes each of 13 |
---|
45 | 45 | | the following: 14 |
---|
46 | 46 | | (A) A description of the policy of the De-15 |
---|
47 | 47 | | partment of Defense regarding the use of anti- 16 |
---|
48 | 48 | | personnel landmines, including methods for 17 |
---|
49 | 49 | | commanders to seek waivers to use such muni-18 |
---|
50 | 50 | | tions. 19 |
---|
51 | 51 | | (B) Projections covering the period of 10 20 |
---|
52 | 52 | | years following the date of the report of— 21 |
---|
53 | 53 | | (i) the inventory levels for all anti-per-22 |
---|
54 | 54 | | sonnel landmine munitions, taking into ac-23 |
---|
55 | 55 | | count future production of anti-personnel 24 |

56 | 56 | | landmine munitions, any plans for demili-25 |

73 | 73 | | Joint Chiefs of Staff of the effects of the inven-14 |
