AN ACT
To amend the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 to clarify
a provision relating to certain contents of registrations
under that Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 2

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 1
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Disclosing Foreign In-2
fluence in Lobbying Act’’. 3
SEC. 2. CLARIFICATION OF CONTENTS OF REGISTRATION. 4
Section 4(b) of the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 5
(2 U.S.C. 1603(b)) is amended— 6
(1) in paragraph (6), by striking ‘‘and’’ at the 7
end; and 8
(2) in paragraph (7), by striking ‘‘the offense.’’ 9
and inserting the following: ‘‘the offense; and 10
‘‘(8) notwithstanding paragraph (4), the name 11
and address of each government of a foreign country 12
(including any agency or subdivision of a govern-13
ment of a foreign country, such as a regional or mu-14
nicipal unit of government) and foreign political 15
party, other than the client, that participates in the 16
direction, planning, supervision, or control of any 17
lobbying activities of the registrant.’’. 18
