2525 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
2626 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Honoring Our Fallen 4
2727 TSA Officers Act’’. 5

3434 Section 1204(14) of the Omnibus Crime Control and 4
3535 Safe Streets Act of 1968 (34 U.S.C. 10284(14)) is amend-5

3737 (1) in subparagraph (F), by striking ‘‘or’’ at 7
3838 the end; 8
3939 (2) in subparagraph (G), by striking the period 9
4040 at the end and inserting ‘‘; or’’; and 10
4141 (3) by inserting after subparagraph (G) the fol-11
4242 lowing: 12
4343 ‘‘(H) an employee of the Transportation 13
4444 Security Administration who is performing offi-14
4545 cial duties of the Administration, if those offi-15
4646 cial duties are related to protecting the Nation’s 16
4747 transportation systems to ensure freedom of 17
4848 movement for people and commerce.’’. 18
4949 SEC. 3. APPLICABILITY. 19
5050 This Act and the amendments made by this Act shall 20
5151 apply with respect an injury sustained by an individual 21
5252 described in subparagraph (H) of section 1204(14) of the 22
5353 Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (34 23
5454 U.S.C. 10284(14)), as added by this Act, on or after Octo-24
