TRANSPORTATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION EM-1 PLOYEES ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE PUBLIC 2 SAFETY OFFICERS’ DEATH BENEFITS. 3 Section 1204(14) of the Omnibus Crime Control and 4 Safe Streets Act of 1968 (34 U.S.C. 10284(14)) is amend-5 ed— 6 (1) in subparagraph (F), by striking ‘‘or’’ at 7 the end; 8 (2) in subparagraph (G), by striking the period 9 at the end and inserting ‘‘; or’’; and 10 (3) by inserting after subparagraph (G) the fol-11 lowing: 12 ‘‘(H) an employee of the Transportation 13 Security Administration who is performing offi-14 cial duties of the Administration, if those offi-15 cial duties are related to protecting the Nation’s 16 transportation systems to ensure freedom of 17 movement for people and commerce.’’. 18 SEC. 3.
