16	16	To amend the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 to modify
17	17	work requirements under the supplemental nutrition as-
18	18	sistance program, and for other purposes.
19	19	Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
20	20	tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
21	21	SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
22	22	This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Let’s Get to Work 4
23	23	Act of 2025’’. 5
24	24	SEC. 2. SNAP WORK REQUIREMENTS. 6
25	25	(a) I
26	26	NGENERAL.—Section 6(o) of the Food and Nu-7
27	27	trition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2015(o)) is amended— 8

32	32	subparagraph (A), by inserting ‘‘, or, in the case of 2
33	33	a parent or other member of a household with re-3
34	34	sponsibility for a dependent child, 6 months (con-4
35	35	secutive or otherwise),’’ before ‘‘during which’’; 5
36	36	(2) in paragraph (3)— 6
37	37	(A) in subparagraph (A), by striking 7
38	38	clause (ii) and inserting the following: 8
39	39	‘‘(ii) over 60 years of age;’’; 9
40	40	(B) in subparagraph (C), by inserting 10
41	41	‘‘under 6 years of age’’ before the semicolon at 11
42	42	the end; 12
43	43	(C) in subparagraph (G), by striking ‘‘or’’ 13
44	44	at the end; 14
45	45	(D) in subparagraph (H), by striking the 15
46	46	period at the end and inserting ‘‘; or’’; and 16
47	47	(E) by adding at the end the following: 17
48	48	‘‘(I)(i) responsible for a dependent indi-18
49	49	vidual; and 19
50	50	‘‘(ii) married to, and resides with, an indi-20
51	51	vidual who is in compliance with the require-21
52	52	ments of paragraph (2).’’; and 22

54	54	(A) in subparagraph (B), by striking ‘‘(I)’’ 24

74	74	month period’’ and inserting ‘‘3-month or 6-month period, 15
75	75	as applicable,’’. 16
76	76	SEC. 3. WORK REQUIREMENTS FOR PUBLIC HOUSING AND 17
77	77	TENANT-BASED RENTAL ASSISTANCE. 18

79	79	UBLICHOUSING.—Section 3 of the United 19
80	80	States Housing Act of 1937 (42 U.S.C. 1437a) is amend-20
81	81	ed by adding at the end the following: 21
82	82	‘‘(e) W
83	83	ORKREQUIREMENTS FOR FAMILIES.—The re-22
84	84	quirements described in section 6(o) of the Food and Nu-23
85	85	trition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2015(o)) shall apply with 24
86	86	respect to any individual who— 25

90	90	‘‘(1) is a member of a family residing in a pub-1
91	91	lic housing dwelling; and 2
92	92	‘‘(2) is not exempted from those requirements 3
93	93	under paragraph (3) of such section.’’. 4

95	95	ENANT-BASEDRENTALASSISTANCE.—Section 5
96	96	8(o) of the United States Housing Act of 1937 (42 U.S.C. 6
97	97	1437f(o)) is amended by adding at the end the following: 7
98	98	‘‘(22) W
99	99	ORK REQUIREMENTS FOR FAMILIES .— 8
100	100	The requirements described in section 6(o) of the 9
101	101	Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2015(o)) 10
102	102	shall apply with respect to any individual who— 11
103	103	‘‘(A) is a member of a family receiving ten-12
104	104	ant-based assistance; and 13
105	105	‘‘(B) is not exempted from those require-14
106	106	ments under paragraph (3) of such section.’’. 15
