To amend the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 to modify
work requirements under the supplemental nutrition as-
sistance program, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Let’s Get to Work 4
Act of 2025’’. 5
SEC. 2. SNAP WORK REQUIREMENTS. 6
(a) I
NGENERAL.—Section 6(o) of the Food and Nu-7
trition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2015(o)) is amended— 8

(1) in paragraph (2), in the matter preceding 1
subparagraph (A), by inserting ‘‘, or, in the case of 2
a parent or other member of a household with re-3
sponsibility for a dependent child, 6 months (con-4
secutive or otherwise),’’ before ‘‘during which’’; 5
(2) in paragraph (3)— 6
(A) in subparagraph (A), by striking 7
clause (ii) and inserting the following: 8
‘‘(ii) over 60 years of age;’’; 9
(B) in subparagraph (C), by inserting 10
‘‘under 6 years of age’’ before the semicolon at 11
the end; 12
(C) in subparagraph (G), by striking ‘‘or’’ 13
at the end; 14
(D) in subparagraph (H), by striking the 15
period at the end and inserting ‘‘; or’’; and 16
(E) by adding at the end the following: 17
‘‘(I)(i) responsible for a dependent indi-18
vidual; and 19
‘‘(ii) married to, and resides with, an indi-20
vidual who is in compliance with the require-21
ments of paragraph (2).’’; and 22
(3) in paragraph (6)— 23
(A) in subparagraph (B), by striking ‘‘(I)’’ 24
and inserting ‘‘(H)’’; 25

(B) in subparagraph (C), by striking ‘‘(G) 1
and (I)’’ and inserting ‘‘(F) and (H)’’; 2
(C) in subparagraph (D), by striking ‘‘(G) 3
through (I)’’ and inserting ‘‘(F) through (H)’’; 4
(D) by striking subparagraph (F); 5
(E) by redesignating subparagraphs (G) 6
through (J) as subparagraphs (F) through (I), 7
respectively; and 8
(F) in subparagraph (F) (as so redesig-9
nated), by striking ‘‘(C), (D),, (E), or (F)’’ and 10
inserting ‘‘(C), (D), or (E)’’. 11
(b) C
ONFORMING AMENDMENT.—Section 12
16(h)(1)(E)(ii)(I) of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 13
(7 U.S.C. 2025(h)(1)(E)(ii)(I)) is amended by striking ‘‘3- 14
month period’’ and inserting ‘‘3-month or 6-month period, 15
as applicable,’’. 16
SEC. 3. WORK REQUIREMENTS FOR PUBLIC HOUSING AND 17
TENANT-BASED RENTAL ASSISTANCE. 18
(a) P
UBLICHOUSING.—Section 3 of the United 19
States Housing Act of 1937 (42 U.S.C. 1437a) is amend-20
ed by adding at the end the following: 21
‘‘(e) W
ORKREQUIREMENTS FOR FAMILIES.—The re-22
quirements described in section 6(o) of the Food and Nu-23
trition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2015(o)) shall apply with 24
respect to any individual who— 25

‘‘(1) is a member of a family residing in a pub-1
lic housing dwelling; and 2
‘‘(2) is not exempted from those requirements 3
under paragraph (3) of such section.’’. 4
(b) T
ENANT-BASEDRENTALASSISTANCE.—Section 5
8(o) of the United States Housing Act of 1937 (42 U.S.C. 6
1437f(o)) is amended by adding at the end the following: 7
‘‘(22) W
ORK REQUIREMENTS FOR FAMILIES .— 8
The requirements described in section 6(o) of the 9
Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2015(o)) 10
shall apply with respect to any individual who— 11
‘‘(A) is a member of a family receiving ten-12
ant-based assistance; and 13
‘‘(B) is not exempted from those require-14
ments under paragraph (3) of such section.’’. 15
