37	19		tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
38	20		SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
39		-	This Act may be cited as the ‘‘China Financial ~~Threat~~ 4
40		-	Mitigation Act of 2025’’. 5

	22	+	Threat Mitigation Act of 2025’’. 5
41	23		SEC. 2. CHINA FINANCIAL THREAT MITIGATION. 6
42	24		(a) R
43	25		EPORT.—Not later than one year after the date 7
44		-	of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of the Treasury, 8
45		-	in consultation with the Chairman of the Board of Gov-9
46		-	ernors of the Federal Reserve System, the Chairman of the 10
47		-	Securities and Exchange Commission, the Chairman of the 11
48		-	Commodity Futures Trading Commission, and the Sec-12
49		-	retary of State, shall conduct a study and issue a report 13
50		-	on the exposure of the United States to the financial sector 14
51		-	of the People’s Republic of China that includes— 15
52		-	(1) an assessment of the effects of significant 16
53		-	risks in the financial sector of the People’s Republic 17
54		-	of China on the United States and global financial 18
55		-	systems; 19
56		-	(2) a description of the policies the United States 20
57		-	Government is adopting to protect the financial sta-21
58		-	bility of the United States and the global economy 22
59		-	from any risks described under paragraph (1); 23

73		-	RANSMISSION OFREPORT.—The Secretary of the 10
74		-	Treasury shall transmit the report required under sub-11
75		-	section (a) to the Committees on Financial Services and 12
76		-	Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives, the Com-13
77		-	mittees on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs and For-14
78		-	eign Relations of the Senate, and to the United States rep-15
79		-	resentatives at relevant international organizations, as ap-16
80		-	propriate. 17
	60	+	RANSMISSION OF REPORT.—The Secretary of 3
	61	+	the Treasury shall transmit the report required under sub-4
	62	+	section (a) not later than one year after the date of enact-5
	63	+	ment of this Act to the Committees on Financial Services 6
	64	+	and Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives, the 7
	65	+	Committees on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs and 8

	67	+	representatives at relevant international organizations, as 10
