3131 NGENERAL.—The Secretary of Education (act-3
3232 ing through the Office of Federal Student Aid) shall— 4
3333 (1) not later than 60 days after the date of en-5
3434 actment of this Act, publish on the public website of 6
3535 the Office of Federal Student Aid of the Department 7
3636 of Education information on— 8
3737 (A) career and technical education pro-9
3838 grams, including average completion time, pro-10
3939 gram cost, and post-graduation employment 11
4040 rate; and 12
4141 (B) opportunities in each State— 13
4242 (i) to pursue such programs; and 14
4343 (ii) for funding to pursue such pro-15
4444 grams under the Carl D. Perkins Career 16
4545 and Technical Education Act of 2006 (20 17
4646 U.S.C. 2301 et seq.); and 18
4747 (2) continuously update and maintain the infor-19
4848 mation published under paragraph (1) to ensure 20
4949 that such information continues to be relevant. 21

5151 EFINITIONS.—In this section, the terms ‘‘career 22
5252 and technical education’’ and ‘‘State’’ have the meanings 23
5353 given the terms in section 3 of the Carl D. Perkins Career 24
5454 and Technical Education Act of 2006 (20 U.S.C. 2302). 25

5959 Section 494(a)(1)(A) of the Higher Education Act of 2
6060 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1098h(a)(1)(A)) is amended— 3
6161 (1) in clause (i)(II), by striking ‘‘and’’ at the 4

6363 (2) in clause (ii), by adding ‘‘and’’ at the end; 6

6565 (3) by adding at the end the following: 8
6666 ‘‘(iii) career and technical education 9
6767 programs (as defined in section 3 of the 10
6868 Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical 11
6969 Education Act of 2006 (20 U.S.C. 2302)) 12
7070 are a viable alternative to a 4-year degree, 13
7171 and include, to ensure such individuals are 14
7272 made aware of such programs and related 15
7373 career paths at the beginning of the appli-16
7474 cation— 17
7575 ‘‘(I) a one-page summary of the 18
7676 most recent information provided 19
7777 under section 2(a)(1) of the Student 20
7878 Debt Alternative and CTE Awareness 21
7979 Act; and 22
