To repeal the sunset provision of the Iran Sanctions Act
of 1996, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Solidify Iran Sanctions 4
Act of 2025’’. 5
SEC. 2. FINDINGS. 6
Congress makes the following findings: 7

(1) The Iran Sanctions Act of 1996 (Public 1
Law 104–172; 50 U.S.C. 1701 note) requires the 2
imposition of sanctions with respect to Iran’s illicit 3
weapons programs, conventional weapons and bal-4
listic missile development, and support for terrorism, 5
including Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps. 6
(2) The Government of Iran has acquired de-7
stabilizing conventional weapons systems from the 8
Russian Federation and other malign actors, and is 9
funneling weapons and financial support to its ter-10
rorist proxies throughout the Middle East, threat-11
ening allies and partners of the United States, such 12
as Israel. 13
SEC. 3. STATEMENT OF POLICY. 14
It is the policy of the United States to fully imple-15
ment and enforce the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996 (Public 16
Law 104–172; 50 U.S.C. 1701 note). 17
SEC. 4. REPEAL OF SUNSET. 18
Section 13 of the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996 (Public 19
Law 104–172; 50 U.S.C. 1701 note) is amended— 20
(1) in the section heading, by striking ‘‘;

(2) by striking ‘‘(a) E

(3) by striking subsection (b). 24
