| 32 | 32 | | Act (42 U.S.C. 300c–11(a)), shall conduct a study on the 6 |

| 33 | 33 | | use of home cardiorespiratory monitors for infants in rela-7 |

| 34 | 34 | | tion to the prevention of sudden unexpected infant death 8 |

| 35 | 35 | | (as defined in section 1121(e) of such Act (42 U.S.C. 9 |

| 39 | 39 | | of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall submit to 12 |

| 41 | 41 | | subsection (a). Such report shall include the following: 14 |

| 42 | 42 | | (1) Evidence on the effectiveness, performance, 15 |

| 43 | 43 | | and accuracy of home cardiorespiratory monitors 16 |
|---|
| 44 | 44 | | that track the heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and 17 |
|---|
| 45 | 45 | | other vital signs of an infant. 18 |

| 46 | 46 | | (2) New models of care to improve the home 19 |
|---|
| 47 | 47 | | sleeping environment of an infant, including the use 20 |
|---|
| 48 | 48 | | of cardiorespiratory monitors. 21 |

| 50 | 50 | | propriate coverage for a home cardiorespiratory 23 |
