| 43 | 43 | | days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Sec-13 |

| 45 | 45 | | Commissioner of Food and Drugs, and in consultation 15 |

| 46 | 46 | | with the Secretary of Agriculture, shall issue a rule revis-16 |

| 47 | 47 | | ing section 118.4 of title 21, Code of Federal Regulations 17 |

| 48 | 48 | | (or successor regulations), to allow for surplus broiler 18 |

| 49 | 49 | | hatching eggs to be held at such temperature and for such 19 |

| 50 | 50 | | period of time at such temperature, so as to be compatible 20 |

| 51 | 51 | | with conditions for hatching chicks and to allow for the 21 |

| 52 | 52 | | sale of such eggs to egg breakers for the purposes de-22 |
