A BILL
To reauthorize the Adams Memorial Commission, and for
other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘The Adams Memorial- 4
Great American Heroes Act’’. 5
SEC. 2. EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY; LOCATION OF MEMO-6
RIAL. 7
(a) A
DAMSMEMORIALCOMMISSION.—Section 2406 8
of the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, 9
and Recreation Act (Public Law 116–9) is amended— 10

(1) in subsection (l), by striking ‘‘2025’’ and in-1
serting ‘‘2032’’; and 2
(2) by adding at the end the following: 3
‘‘(n) A
UTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.—Not-4
withstanding other provision of law, there are authorized 5
to be appropriated $50,000,000 to carry out the purposes 6
of this section, subject to the following limitations: 7
‘‘(1) N
ON-FEDERAL MATCH REQUIREMENT .— 8
Any Federal funds made available under this section 9
shall be matched on a 1-to-1 basis by non-Federal 10
contributions. 11
‘‘(2) L
IMITATION ON ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS .— 12
Not more than 4 percent of Federal funds made 13
available under this section may be used for admin-14
istrative expenses.’’. 15
(b) C
OMPLIANCEWITHSTANDARDS FORCOMMEMO-16
RATIVEWORKS.—Section 1(c) of Public Law 107–62 (115 17
Stat. 411; 124 Stat. 1192; 127 Stat. 3880; 133 Stat. 750) 18
is amended— 19
(1) by striking ‘‘The establishment’’ and insert-20
ing ‘‘Notwithstanding section 8908(c) of title 40, 21
United States Code, the establishment’’; and 22
(2) by striking ‘‘2025’’ and inserting ‘‘2032’’. 23
(c) L
OCATION OFCOMMEMORATIVE WORK.—Section 24
2 of Public Law 107–315 (116 Stat. 2763) is amended— 25

serting ‘‘(a) Except as provided in subsection (b), 2
the commemorative’’; and 3
(2) by adding at the end the following: 4
‘‘(b) The commemorative work may be located within 5
the area generally depicted as ‘Adams Memorial: Eligible 6
Additional Area’ on the map titled ‘Adams Memorial: Eli-7
gible Additional Area’ prepared by the Adams Memorial 8
Commission and dated February 25, 2025.’’. 9
