5656 SEC. 2. MANDATORY FUNDING OF THE INDIVIDUALS WITH 4
5757 DISABILITIES EDUCATION ACT. 5
5858 Section 611(i) of the Individuals with Disabilities 6
5959 Education Act (20 U.S.C. 1411(i)) is amended to read 7

6464 N GENERAL.—For the purpose of car-10

6767 ‘‘(A) $16,661,928,000 or 11.6 percent of 13
6868 the amount determined under paragraph (2), 14
6969 whichever is greater, for fiscal year 2026, and 15

173173 tion with respect to each subsequent fiscal 8
174174 year on July 1 of that fiscal year and shall 9

178178 MOUNT.—With respect to each subpara-12
179179 graph of paragraph (1), the amount determined 13
180180 under this paragraph is the product of— 14
181181 ‘‘(A) the total number of children with dis-15
182182 abilities in all States who— 16
183183 ‘‘(i) received special education and re-17
184184 lated services during the last school year 18
185185 that concluded before the first day of the 19
186186 fiscal year for which the determination is 20
187187 made; and 21
188188 ‘‘(ii) were aged— 22
189189 ‘‘(I) 3 through 5 (with respect to 23
190190 the States that were eligible for 24
191191 grants under section 619); and 25

200200 The amounts appropriated in section 611(i) of the 6
201201 Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (20 U.S.C. 7
202202 1411(i)), as amended by section 2 of this Act, shall be 8
203203 expended consistent with cut-as-you-go requirements. 9
