To make the Union Station Redevelopment Corporation
eligible to receive certain grants, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Union Station Redevel-4
opment Corporation Funding Eligibility Act’’ or the 5
‘‘USRC Funding Eligibility Act’’. 6

SEC. 2. ELIGIBILITY OF UNION STATION REDEVELOPMENT 1
CORPORATION TO RECEIVE CERTAIN 2
GRANTS. 3
(a) B
ETTERUTILIZINGINVESTMENTS TOLEVERAGE 4

EVELOPMENT(BUILD) GRANTS.— 5
(1) E
LIGIBILITY.—The Union Station Redevel-6
opment Corporation shall be eligible to receive 7
grants under the program for national infrastructure 8
investments (commonly known as the ‘‘Better Uti-9
lizing Investments to Leverage Development 10
(BUILD) grant program’’ and formerly known as 11
the ‘‘Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sus-12
tainability and Equity (RAISE) grant program’’) 13
carried out by the Department of Transportation. 14
(2) F
EDERAL SHARE.—The Federal share of a 15
grant under a program described in paragraph (1) 16
to the Union Station Redevelopment Corporation 17
shall be 100 percent. 18
(b) N
ATIONALINFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTASSIST-19
ANCEGRANTS.—Section 6701 of title 49, United States 20
Code, is amended— 21
(1) in subsection (a)(2)— 22
(A) in subparagraph (G) by striking ‘‘and’’ 23
at the end; 24
(B) in subparagraph (H) by striking ‘‘(G)’’ 25
and inserting ‘‘(H)’’; 26

(C) by redesignating subparagraph (H) as 1
subparagraph (I); and 2
(D) by inserting after subparagraph (G) 3
the following: 4
‘‘(H) Union Station Redevelopment Cor-5
poration; and’’; and 6
(2) in subsection (i) by adding at the end the 7
following: 8
‘‘(4) E
XCEPTION.—Notwithstanding paragraph 9
(1), the total amount awarded for a project under 10
the program awarded to the entity described in sub-11
section (a)(2)(H) shall be 100 percent of the total 12
eligible project costs described in subsection (h).’’. 13
(c) C
ONSOLIDATED RAILINFRASTRUCTURE AND 14
S
AFETYIMPROVEMENT GRANTS.—Section 22907 of title 15
49, United States Code, is amended— 16
(1) in subsection (b) by adding at the end the 17
following: 18
‘‘(14) The Union Station Redevelopment Cor-19
poration.’’; and 20
(2) in subsection (h)(2) by inserting ‘‘, except 21
that with respect to the entity described in sub-22
section (b)(14) the Federal share shall be 100 per-23
cent’’ before the period. 24

ASSENGERRAILGRANTS.—Section 24911 of title 49, 2
United States Code, is amended— 3
(1) in subsection (a)(1)— 4
(A) in subparagraph (G) by striking ‘‘or’’ 5
at the end; 6
(B) in subparagraph (H) by striking ‘‘(G)’’ 7
and inserting ‘‘(H)’’; 8
(C) by redesignating subparagraph (H) as 9
subparagraph (I); and 10
(D) by inserting after subparagraph (G) 11
the following: 12
‘‘(H) the Union Station Redevelopment 13
Corporation; or’’; and 14
(2) in subsection (f) by adding at the end the 15
following: 16
‘‘(4) E
XCEPTION.—The total amount awarded 17
for a project under the program awarded to the enti-18
ty described in subsection (a)(1)(H) shall be 100 19
