34 | 34 | | NGENERAL.—Beginning on the date of the en-8 |

35 | 35 | | actment of this section, an institution of higher education 9 |

36 | 36 | | that receives funds under this Act may not receive a gift 10 |
---|
37 | 37 | | from— 11 |
---|
38 | 38 | | ‘‘(1) a country that, as of such date of enact-12 |
---|
39 | 39 | | ment, has provided material support to a foreign ter-13 |
---|
40 | 40 | | rorist organization, as determined by the Secretary 14 |
---|
41 | 41 | | of State; or 15 |
---|
42 | 42 | | ‘‘(2) China, Russia, North Korea, or Iran. 16 |

44 | 44 | | EPORTING.—In order to continue to be eligible 17 |
---|
45 | 45 | | to receive funds under this Act, an institution described 18 |
---|
46 | 46 | | in subsection (a) must, for each instance where such insti-19 |

47 | 47 | | tution is offered a gift from a country described in such 20 |
---|
48 | 48 | | subsection, report such offer to the Secretary. 21 |
