17	17	To increase protections against sexually dangerous persons,
18	18	and for other purposes.
19	19	Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-1
20	20	tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2
21	21	SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3
22	22	This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Stop Sexually Violent 4
23	23	Predators Act’’. 5

29	29	(a) I
30	30	NGENERAL.—Section 301(c)(1) of the Adam 3
31	31	Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006 (34 U.S.C. 4
32	32	20971(c)(1)) is amended— 5
33	33	(1) by redesignating subparagraphs (A) and 6
34	34	(B) as clauses (i) and (ii), respectively, and by mov-7
35	35	ing such clauses, as redesignated, 2 ems to the right; 8
36	36	(2) in clause (ii), as redesignated, by striking 9
37	37	the period and inserting ‘‘; and’’; 10
38	38	(3) by striking ‘‘shall, before the expiration of 11
39	39	the compliance period—’’ and inserting the fol-12
40	40	lowing: ‘‘shall— 13
41	41	‘‘(A) before the expiration of the compli-14
42	42	ance period—’’; and 15
43	43	(4) by adding at the end the following: 16
44	44	‘‘(B) submit to the Attorney General a list 17
45	45	of individuals who were convicted of a sexually 18
46	46	dangerous offense in the previous fiscal year.’’. 19

48	48	EVIEW FORFEDERALPROSECUTION.—Section 20
49	49	301 of the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act 21
50	50	of 2006 (34 U.S.C. 20971) is amended by adding at the 22
51	51	end the following: 23
52	52	‘‘(g) R
53	53	EVIEW FORFEDERALPROSECUTION.—The 24
54	54	Attorney General shall review the list submitted pursuant 25

59	59	individual should be prosecuted for a Federal offense.’’. 2

61	61	IMITATIONS ONFEDERALFUNDINGWITHRE-3
62	62	SPECT TOHEALTHCARE FORSPECIFIEDINDIVIDUALS.— 4
63	63	(1) M
64	64	EDICAID.—Subject to paragraph (3), pay-5
65	65	ment under section 1903(a) of the Social Security 6
66	66	Act (42 U.S.C. 1396b(a)) shall not be made to a 7
67	67	State with respect to medical assistance furnished to 8
68	68	a specified individual under a State plan (or waiver 9
69	69	of such plan) under title XIX of such Act (42 10
70	70	U.S.C. 1396 et seq.). 11

72	72	EDICARE.—Subject to paragraph (3), a 12
73	73	specified individual shall be deemed to be ineligible 13
74	74	for— 14
75	75	(A) hospital insurance benefits under part 15
76	76	A of title XVIII of the Social Security Act (42 16
77	77	U.S.C. 1395 et seq.); and 17
78	78	(B) supplementary medical insurance bene-18
79	79	fits under part B of title XVIII of such Act (42 19
80	80	U.S.C. 1395j et seq.). 20

82	82	XCEPTION.—Paragraphs (1) and (2) shall 21
83	83	not apply in the case of an individual who is an in-22
84	84	patient of a hospital or a skilled nursing facility (as 23
85	85	such terms are defined in title XVIII of the Social 24
86	86	Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395 et seq.)) and receives 25

93	93	PECIFIED INDIVIDUAL DEFINED .—In this 3
94	94	subsection, the term ‘‘specified individual’’ means an 4
95	95	individual who has been convicted of a sexually vio-5
96	96	lent offense and has been determined to be a sexu-6
97	97	ally dangerous person (as such term is defined in 7
98	98	section 301(e) of the Adam Walsh Child Protection 8
99	99	and Safety Act of 2006 (34 U.S.C. 20971(e))). 9

103	103	tion and Safety Act of 2006 (34 U.S.C. 20914(b)) is 12

107	107	(2) by inserting after paragraph (7) the fol-16
108	108	lowing: 17
109	109	‘‘(8) Information about any relevant court 18
