SHORT TITLE. 1 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Second Chance for 2 Moms Act of 2025’’. 3 SEC. 2. MIFEPRISTONE WARNING LABEL AND HOTLINE. 4 (a) W ARNINGLABEL.— 5 (1) I N GENERAL.—Section 502 of the Federal 6 Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (21 U.S.C. 352) is 7 amended by adding at the end the following: 8 ‘‘(hh) If it is the drug mifepristone, and its labeling 9 does not bear the following statement printed in con-10 spicuous text: ‘WARNING: Medical evidence suggests that 11 the abortifacient effects of mifepristone can be counter-12 acted by natural progesterone, which can increase the 13 chance of fetal survival. The American Society for Repro-14 ductive Medicine has determined that natural progester-15 one is safe in the first trimester of pregnancy.
