19 | 19 | | This Act may be cited as the ‘‘DEI to DIE Act’’. 4 |

20 | 20 | | SEC. 2. ELIMINATION OF DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLU-5 |

21 | 21 | | SION IN FEDERAL GOVERNMENT. 6 |

23 | 23 | | INDINGS.—Congress finds the following: 7 |

24 | 24 | | (1) The Biden Administration forced illegal and 8 |
---|
25 | 25 | | immoral discrimination programs, going by the name 9 |
---|
26 | 26 | | ‘‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’’ (in this Act re-10 |
---|

34 | 34 | | President Biden’s first day in office, when he issued 5 |

35 | 35 | | Executive Order 13985, ‘‘Advancing Racial Equity 6 |
---|
36 | 36 | | and Support for Underserved Communities Through 7 |
---|
37 | 37 | | the Federal Government’’. 8 |
---|
38 | 38 | | (3) Pursuant to Executive Order 13985 and 9 |
---|
39 | 39 | | follow-on orders, nearly every Federal agency and 10 |
---|
40 | 40 | | entity submitted ‘‘Equity Action Plans’’ to detail the 11 |
---|
41 | 41 | | ways that they have furthered DEIs infiltration of 12 |
---|
42 | 42 | | the Federal Government. 13 |
---|
43 | 43 | | (4) The public release of these plans dem-14 |
---|
44 | 44 | | onstrated immense public waste and shameful dis-15 |
---|
45 | 45 | | crimination. 16 |
---|
46 | 46 | | (5) That ends today. Americans deserve a Gov-17 |
---|
47 | 47 | | ernment committed to serving every person with 18 |
---|
48 | 48 | | equal dignity and respect, and to expending precious 19 |
---|
49 | 49 | | taxpayer resources only on making America great. 20 |

53 | 53 | | N GENERAL.—The Director of the Office of 22 |

65 | 65 | | ‘‘DEIA’’) mandates, policies, programs, preferences, 6 |
---|
66 | 66 | | and activities in the Federal Government, under 7 |
---|
67 | 67 | | whatever name they appear. 8 |

---|
69 | 69 | | PPLICATION.—To carry out paragraph (1), 9 |
---|
70 | 70 | | the Director of OPM, with the assistance of the At-10 |
---|
71 | 71 | | torney General as requested, shall review and revise, 11 |
---|
72 | 72 | | as appropriate, all existing Federal employment 12 |
---|
73 | 73 | | practices, union contracts, and training policies or 13 |
---|
74 | 74 | | programs to comply with this Act. Federal employ-14 |
---|
75 | 75 | | ment practices, including Federal employee perform-15 |
---|
76 | 76 | | ance reviews, shall reward individual initiative, skills, 16 |
---|
77 | 77 | | performance, and hard work and shall not under any 17 |
---|
78 | 78 | | circumstances consider DEI or DEIA factors, goals, 18 |
---|
79 | 79 | | policies, mandates, or requirements. 19 |

81 | 81 | | EQUIREDACTIONS.—Each agency, department, 20 |
---|
82 | 82 | | or commission head, in consultation with the Attorney 21 |

83 | 83 | | General, the Director of OMB, and the Director of OPM, 22 |

84 | 84 | | as appropriate, shall take the following actions not later 23 |

162 | 162 | | EVERABILITY.—If any provision of this Act, or 17 |
