2135 NGENERAL.—Section 302 of the Homeland Se-6
2236 curity Act of 2002 (6 U.S.C. 182) is amended— 7
2337 (1) in paragraph (13), by striking ‘‘and’’ after 8
2438 the semicolon; 9
2539 (2) in paragraph (14), by striking the period 10
2640 and inserting ‘‘; and’’; and 11
2741 (3) by adding at the end the following new 12
2842 paragraph: 13
2943 ‘‘(15) developing, in coordination with appro-14
3044 priate agency officials, a Department-wide policy 15
3145 and process to safeguard research and development 16
3246 from unauthorized access to or disclosure of sen-17
3347 sitive information in research and development ac-18
3448 quisitions.’’. 19

7997 ernmental Affairs of the Senate a briefing addressing the 8
8098 development of policies and processes to safeguard De-9

83101 Homeland Security Act of 2002 (6 U.S.C. 182), as added 12
