25 | 25 | | NGENERAL.—Notwithstanding any other law, 9 |

26 | 26 | | rule, or regulation, any employee in the executive branch 10 |

36 | 36 | | PPLICATION.—Subsection (a) shall only apply to 6 |

37 | 37 | | such a spouse who, prior to January 20, 2025, was eligible 7 |
---|
38 | 38 | | to telework or remote work. 8 |

40 | 40 | | EPORT.—Not later than 180 days after the 9 |

41 | 41 | | date of the enactment of this section, the Comptroller 10 |

42 | 42 | | General of the United States shall submit a report, to the 11 |

43 | 43 | | Committee on Oversight and Government Reform of the 12 |
---|
44 | 44 | | House of Representatives and the Committee on Home-13 |
---|
45 | 45 | | land Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate, 14 |
---|
46 | 46 | | and publish such report on the public website of the Gov-15 |
---|
47 | 47 | | ernment Accountability Office. Such report shall include— 16 |
---|
48 | 48 | | (1) the total number of employees described in 17 |
---|
49 | 49 | | subsection (a); 18 |
---|
50 | 50 | | (2) the average distance (in miles) such employ-19 |
---|
51 | 51 | | ees would commute if required to report to work in- 20 |
---|
52 | 52 | | person at their agency duty station; and 21 |
