16 | 16 | | SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3 |

17 | 17 | | This Act may be cited as the ‘‘End Endless Criminal 4 |

18 | 18 | | Statutes Act’’. 5 |

19 | 19 | | SEC. 2. FINDINGS. 6 |

20 | 20 | | Congress finds that actions which may unnecessarily 7 |

21 | 21 | | carry criminal penalties under Federal statues include the 8 |

22 | 22 | | following: 9 |

23 | 23 | | (1) Writing a check for less than $1. 10 |

43 | 43 | | Capitol Police are directed to prevent any portion of 17 |

46 | 46 | | SEC. 3. REPEAL OF FEDERAL PROVISIONS. 20 |
