Eliminating the restriction that witnesses may appear re-
motely at proceedings of committees of the House of
Representatives only at the discretion of the chair of
the committee.

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 2
This resolution may be cited as the ‘‘Bringing Real 3
Ideas, Data, and Genuine Experience to Congress Resolu-4
tion’’ or the ‘‘BRIDGE to Congress Resolution’’. 5

Section 3(i)(1) of House Resolution 5, agreed to Jan-5
uary 3, 2025, is amended by striking ‘‘at the discretion 6
of the chair of the committee and’’. 7
