2323 tions Act of 1934 (47 U.S.C. 396) is amended by adding 8

3131 N GENERAL.—After the date of enact-3
3232 ment of the Defund NPR Act, no Federal funds 4
3333 may, directly or indirectly, be made available to or 5
3434 used to support an organization described in para-6
3535 graph (2), including through the payment of dues to 7
3636 or the purchase of programming from the organiza-8
3737 tion by a public broadcast station using Federal 9
3838 funds received by the station. 10
3939 ‘‘(2) O
4040 RGANIZATIONS DESCRIBED .—The organi-11
4141 zations described in this paragraph are— 12
4242 ‘‘(A) the organization known, as of the 13
4343 date of enactment of the Defund NPR Act, as 14
4444 ‘National Public Radio’; and 15
4545 ‘‘(B) any successor organization to the or-16
4646 ganization described in subparagraph (A).’’. 17

4949 Title III of the Communications Act of 1934 (47 U.S.C. 19
5050 301 et seq.) is amended— 20
5151 (1) in section 396(k) (47 U.S.C. 396(k))— 21
5252 (A) in paragraph (4), in the first sentence, 22
5353 by striking ‘‘or National Public Radio’’; and 23
