2020 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Save Our Forests Act 4
2121 of 2025’’. 5
2222 SEC. 2. DEFINITIONS. 6

2525 ATIONAL FOREST SYSTEM .—The term 8
2626 ‘‘National Forest System’’ has the meaning given 9

4040 As soon as practicable after the date of enactment 8
4141 of this Act, using funds previously appropriated to the 9
4242 Secretary for such purposes, the Secretary shall— 10
4343 (1) increase staffing necessary to sustain the 11
4444 health, diversity, and productivity of National Forest 12
4545 System land to meet the needs of present and future 13
4646 generations; and 14
4747 (2) reinstate any individuals who were involun-15
4848 tarily removed or otherwise terminated from employ-16
4949 ment with the Service during the period beginning 17
5050 on January 20, 2025, and ending on February 25, 18
5151 2025. 19
5252 SEC. 4. CONTINUATION OF AUTHORIZED FOREST SERVICE 20
5353 PROJECTS. 21
5454 The Secretary shall have the authority to continue 22
5555 to carry out any Service project for which funds are au-23
