2424 Expressing the sense of the Senate that the operations of

3030 Resolved, That it is the sense of the Senate that— 1
3131 (1) to protect the health, economic vitality, and 2
3232 national security of the people of the United States, 3

4343 (2) the workforce of the National Institutes of 8
4444 Health, comprised of scientists, researchers, and 9

4747 dermines efforts to develop life-saving treatments, 12
4848 weakens the biomedical research enterprise, and 13
4949 threatens the Nation’s ability to respond to public 14
