28Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
29 Section 1. Section 72-4-200 is enacted to read:
30 72-4-200. Special designation of state highways -- Procedure.
31 (1) The Legislature may provide for and establish a special designation of a state
32highway.
33 (2) For a special designation of a state highway that is located entirely within the
34geographic jurisdiction of a municipality, city, town, or county, the Legislature shall consult
35with the relevant municipality, city, town, or county before establishing the special designation
36of the state highway.
