26 | 32 | | 25Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah: |
---|
32 | 39 | | 30 (b) select qualified recipients in accordance with Subsection (2). |
---|
33 | 40 | | 31 (2) The office may distribute the money from the grant program to a private landowner: |
---|
34 | 41 | | 32 (a) that applies to the office, in a manner prescribed by the office, to receive all or part |
---|
35 | 42 | | 33of the money contained in the grant program; and |
---|
36 | 43 | | 34 (b) for identifying and protecting archaeological resources on the landowner's property, |
---|
37 | 44 | | 35if the private landowner contributes an amount of money equal to or greater than the amount of |
---|
38 | 45 | | 36money the landowner receives from the grant program. |

39 | 46 | | 37 Section 2. Appropriation. |
---|
40 | 47 | | 38 The following sums of money are appropriated for the fiscal year beginning July 1, |
---|
41 | 48 | | 392023, and ending June 30, 2024. These are additions to amounts previously appropriated for |
---|
42 | 49 | | 40fiscal year 2023. The Legislature has reviewed the following expendable funds. The Legislature |
---|
43 | 50 | | 41authorizes the State Division of Finance to transfer amounts between the following funds or |
---|
44 | 51 | | 42accounts as indicated. Outlays and expenditures from the funds or accounts to which the money |
---|
45 | 52 | | 43is transferred may be made without further legislative action, in accordance with statutory |

46 | 53 | | 44provisions relating to the funds or accounts. |
