1519 WHEREAS, Computer CORE, a nonprofit organization headquartered in Alexandria, has dedicated itself to promoting digital equity and inclusion for underserved communities in Northern Virginia since its founding in 1999; and

1721 WHEREAS, over the past 25 years, Computer CORE has empowered thousands of individuals in Northern Virginia by providing computer literacy training and refurbished computers to adults, fostering economic mobility by bridging the digital divide; and

1923 WHEREAS, Computer CORE provides free online computer skills classes and free refurbished computers to more than 700 adults across Virginia every year; and

2125 WHEREAS, through its computer donation program, Computer CORE has significantly enhanced access to vital technology resources for individuals and families in need; and

3337 RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend Computer CORE for its transformative impact on the lives of individuals and families in Northern Virginia on the occasion of its 25th anniversary; and, be it
