1519 WHEREAS, Mekhi Becton, Sr., a native of Highland Springs in Henrico County, helped the Philadelphia Eagles win Super Bowl LIX in 2025; and

1721 WHEREAS, Mekhi Becton graduated from Highland Springs High School and was a three-star football prospect, ranked as one of the top high school offensive tackles in the country; he was recruited by 31 institutions and ultimately signed with the University of Louisville; and

1923 WHEREAS, after the first four games of his freshman season, Mekhi Becton was the highest-rated freshman in the country by Pro Football Focus, and after seven games, he was the best pass-blocker in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), allowing only six pressures in 312 snaps; and

2933 RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend Mekhi Becton, Sr., on winning Super Bowl LIX as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles; and, be it
