1519 WHEREAS, Karen Evans Schwartzkopf, an accomplished writer, editor, and creator, retired in 2024 from her position as managing editor of Richmond Family Magazine, one of the Richmond area's leading family-lifestyle magazines; and

1721 WHEREAS, Karen Evans Schwartzkopf holds a bachelor's degree in professional writing from Wheeling Jesuit College and previously worked as a public relations coordinator for the former Heilig-Meyers Company and as a managing editor of All About Kids Magazine; and

19-WHEREAS, Karen Evans Schwartzkopf and her husband, Scott Schwartzkopf, creative director and graphic designer, joined Richmond Family Magazine in August 2009, and two months later the magazine's first issue was published, establishing an exceptional resource for parents and families in the Greater Richmond area; and
